Be Your Own Muse

Image
For the past few weeks, Greek Gods have been coming through in my readings and sessions. It started with Zeus who announced himself as a Master Teacher for my client, who also happened to have many great teachers surrounding and working with him. Zeus told him he was fighting his battles for him, so that my client ( who was very smart and innovative, but didn’t like controversy and confrontation) didn’t have to. Last week, while in session, the guidance that came through for my client was this- “Be your own Muse” Spirit then went on to explain how a muse  ( usually feminine) is the source of inspiration for a creative artist. Imagine, they asked, if you were the Muse for the most powerful creative being that you might look up to and admire from afar. What do you think they would see in you that would cause such inspiration? My client thought about what made her feel unique and strong. “Well, I’m a runner,” she said. ( She’s not just a r...

Food, Love and Past Lives

Famine. Trauma. Punishment. Love. Loss. Can the emotions and feelings surrounding specific events in a life from the past effect your relationship with food? For over a decade now, I've witnessed hundreds of scenarios from clients in sessions. They experience  joy, pain, confusion, anger, happiness, fear and love. Most of all, they come to a deeper understanding and learn from their past lives. A young woman came to me for a past life regression for answers concerning her health. She had been anorexic for almost 8 years. She was suicidal at age six. She didn't feel comfortable in her body, especially when she began the change into adulthood. She wanted to remain "small" she told me.  She ate very little, and even thought the smells of household baking often tantalized her desire to eat, she never gave in and actually tasted the homemade cakes or breads.  She had been to countless therapists and doctors , bu...

Cops and Angels

My cousin Mike is a retired Miami detective. He started as a cop, was an undercover DEA, and now he specializes in money laundering, traveling the country giving talks and advising large companies. He's also a psychic medium, but won't admit to it. He once told me about a red haired woman that used to haunt my Grandmother's house; specifically my Aunt Libby's upstairs bedroom. I spent a lot of time in that house as a kid and then an adult, and never once felt or saw a thing. He remembered this apparition yelling at him, mad that he was there, insisting it was her house. He was eleven years old and terrified, but he didn't dare tell anyone for fear of being ridiculed. As a Miami cop, he saw a lot. At night before falling asleep, sepia toned faces would come to him, one after another and he felt like they wanted to tell him something, they wanted ...

"I'm good enough, "I'm smarter enough, and doggone it, people like me!" If you don't remember this tagline from Al Franken's character Stuart Smalley on Saturday Night Live, you're probably A-  a lot younger than me, or B- had better things to do on a Saturday night during the eighties than watch that show. It was a clever sketch that poked fun at all of the self-help books and communities out there at the time. Today, many people swear by affirmations to promote  The Power of Positive Thinking  ( one of the original self-help books, by the way ) And there are people who roll there eyes at the thought of repeating a phrase or "mantra" to themselves over and over, in the hopes that it will change their lives in some way. So - Do affirmations really work? As a Certified Hypnotist and Instructor who has worked with hundreds of people over the course of my career, and also as someone who spent a lot of time reading...

I’ve been doing past life regression for over 10 years now, and I’ve witnessed many amazing things that can occur during the session.  The relief of physical pain is one of the most gratifying.   It is always imperative to bring the client to the time of their death in every life experienced for a few reasons: How did they die?  Injury, disease or ailments may manifest in the present life via cell memory.  A mortal wound to the back may still present as back pain in the present life.   For example, a person killed in battle, who had strong emotions questioning the reasons of war and violence against their fellow man, versus a person killed in battle who called themselves a warrior and believed they did what they had to do, and died with honor.   The person who feels that what they did was justified may not harbor those trapped emotions, as opposed to the one who feels guilt and sadness who may hold onto that pain as a remind...
